Words of Salvation, Deliverance and Revival
Salvation is the most important thing in the life of every human being. Salvation ushers you in into the kingdom of God on earth. Without salvation, you have no inheritance in the LORD. It is the admission letter of a believer into the school of eternal life. Those who graduate will receive the certificate of glory in the Kingdom of heaven. So no one can do without salvation; the only thing left outside salvation is hell fire.
In the beginning, God made everything good, he made man in his image and likeness to be like Him; and to have dominion and reign over all the works of His hand in all realms of existence on earth, under the earth or the sea, and in the heavens. Genesis 1:27-28 recorded that God made man (male and female) in His image.
In Genesis 2:15, we see how God built a paradise, a beautiful garden of Eden, and put man in charge to manage it and enjoy every good thing in it; which man does not know when or how they came to be. This divine blessing may be likened to enjoying a multi-trillion Dollar investment, which you do not know when and how it came about; or where the idea/vision was conceived.
In Genesis 3:3-11, we see how the devil deceived man; man obeyed the devil by disobeying God. And consequently, this single act led to man’s downfall: he fell from the glory of God. Man was cursed and everything around him fell apart, including the very ground that produces food and other resources for man’s needs. We see in Genesis 3:23-24, how man was punished and chased out of his inheritance; that prosperous beautiful garden he did not work for, which he only enjoyed because of his initial right standing with God before the fall.
How will man return to what he was in the beginning?
How will man be restored to his original status which is the God kind of life (Zoe)?
How will man regain his dominion over all God’s creation?
How will man enjoy sweet fellowship with God once again?
How will man receive the power to become the son of God as it was in the beginning?
Then arose the need for reconciliation, and man tried everything humanly possible to return to his former standing with God; but could not do much on his own, for a perfect sacrifice was required to pay for the sin of man and ransom man from the pang of death; (because the wages of sin is death Romans 6:23). But No other sacrifice was found worthy to atone for the sin of man once and fall all.
In order for God to reconcile man back to himself, He needed a perfect, precious and priceless sacrifice. A gift ( the gift of salvation), our Lord Jesus Christ, John 3:16. The sacrificial Lamb of God who was slain for the sin of the World and yet He lives forever, seated at the right hand of God making intercession for the Saint. Hallelujah! Amen!!!!!!!
According to John 3:16, Everlasting life is the product of our reconciliation to God, which He offers to everyone who believes in His Word, His Son: Our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the same ‘’expected end’’ God was speaking about in Jeremiah 29:11.
Jesus Christ is the Gift of Salvation, and He is the author of the ministry of reconciliation; and God has called all of us into this ministry through His son Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:18-21 says, ‘’and all things are of God, who had reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and had given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and had committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be you reconciled to God. For he had made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him’’.
1. The first step to reconciling yourself to God is to realize that you have sinned against God.
2. The Second Step is Surrendering Your Life to Jesus Christ.
3. The Third Step is to Turn from Your Evil Ways and Start Living a life Worthy of a Child of God (Matthew 3: 8)
Ephesians 4:1-2 says; ‘’ I therefore the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love’’.
2 Corinthians 7:1 says; ‘’having therefore the promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God’’.
The reason many believers are living in powerlessness, without vision, and without exercising their God given dominion is because of lack of sanctification and consecration. This is required for baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire which makes power, authority, knowledge, wisdom, direction, revelation and dominion available to a believer, and this third step is the prerequisite for the fourth step of man’s reconciliation to God.
4. The fourth step is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire (The Anointing of Holy Spirit and Power).
ATTRIBUTES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Ghost is the spirit of judgement, justice and the power of creation. Isaiah 11:2 says ‘’and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord’’.
So it obvious, that no believer will survive here on earth and fulfill his eternal destiny, without the in-filling and baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire. The Holy Spirit helps a believer to work out his salvation with fear and trembling. In Acts 19:1-6, Paul talks about believers who were not baptized in the Holy Ghost. In Acts 8:14-17, we see Peter dwelling on the same baptism of the Holy Spirit. This emphasizes how important the subject is to any believer.
5. The Fifth Step is Seeking the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness First and Always.
6. The Sixth Step is to never look back.
Luke 9:62, Jesus states that No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God.
Hebrew 6:4-6 says that it is impossible for those who were once enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the son of God afresh, and put him to open shame.
7. The Seventh Step is Enduring Patiently to the End with Works of Love and Purity of Spirit, Soul and Body.
